Six of the thirteen divisions of the CPI basket had positive impacts on the monthly variation of the index and seven divisions had negative impacts.
Among the divisions with monthly increases in prices, the most notable were clothing and footwear (2.3%), which had an impact of 0.056 percentage points (pp), and food and non-alcoholic beverages (0.2%), which had an impact of 0.040 pp.
The remaining divisions with positive influence on the variation of the CPI had a combined impact of 0.088 pp.
Among the divisions with monthly decreases in prices, the most notable was housing and basic services (-0.4%), which had an impact of -0.081 pp.
