The National Statistics Institute has announced the release of two new tools for accessing and analyzing information from the 2024 Population and Housing Census, which are available in Spanish on the website www.censo2024.cl.

The first tool is the Block–Entity Geographical Viewer, which enables users to search for census results with a high level of territorial disaggregation, to view information through maps and tables, and to download data and maps. The other tool is the Redatam Web Platform, which facilitates online processing of census data and the rapid generation of tables and graphs.

With the Block–Entity Geographical Viewer, users can explore information from the 2024 Census at the block and census-entity level. With the Redatam Web Platform, users can process census data directly online to create tables and graphs for various analytical purposes.

In accordance with current regulations and the standards governing the production of official statistics, these newly available data have been subject to control processes for statistical disclosure in order to protect the confidentiality of the individuals and households surveyed.

With this release, INE has provided users with new inquiry and analysis tools that expand the possibilities for accessing and using information from the 2024 Population and Housing Census.
