The most notable increases were in the division of transport and the division of clothing and footwear, and the most notable decrease was in the division of alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
In November 2025, the monthly variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 0.3%, the cumulative variation in the year to date was 3.7%, and the twelve-month variation was 3.4%.
Nine of the thirteen divisions of the CPI basket had positive impacts on the monthly variation of the index, three divisions had negative impacts, and one division had no impact.
Among the divisions with increases in prices, the most notable were transport (0.7%), which had an impact of 0.090 percentage points (pp), and clothing and footwear (2.6%), which had an impact of 0.063 pp.
The remaining divisions with a positive influence on the CPI had a combined impact of 0.249 pp.
Among the divisions with monthly decreases in prices, the most notable was alcoholic beverages and tobacco (-2.4%), which had an impact of -0.088 pp.
