In September 2025, the monthly variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 0.4%, the cumulative variation in the year to date was 3.3%, and the twelve-month variation was 4.4%.
Nine of the thirteen divisions of the CPI basket had positive impacts on the monthly variation of the index, three divisions had negative impacts, and one division had no impact.
Among the divisions with increases in prices, the most notable were food and non-alcoholic beverages (0.8%), which had an impact of 0.185 percentage points (pp), and recreation, sports, and culture (1.3%), which had an impact of 0.059 pp.
The remaining divisions with positive influence on the variation of the CPI had a combined impact of 0.225 pp.
Among the divisions with monthly decreases in prices, the most notable was information and communication (-0.2%), which had an impact of -0.014 pp.
